Workshop taught by:

A kupa of Kekaha, Kauaʻi, Terri Hopeʻole Rosa Peverly brings decades of experience in hula, cultural education, artistic production, costuming, and event management.

Terri has been a haumāna of hula for 47 years and, since 2018, has served as an Alakaʻi with Hālau Hiʻiakainamakalehua, studying under Kumu Hula Robert Kaupu IV and Lono Padilla. She is also a former Kumu at Kamehameha Schools, where she mentored haumāna in hula and oli and received the Alakaʻi Lawelawe Award for her work in production staging.

Since 1997, Terri has worked as a Productions and Conventions Coordinator with Tihati Productions Ltd., supporting cultural integrity and event operations across Oʻahu and Hawaiʻi Island.

Her artistic expertise also includes cultural costuming representing Hawaiʻi, Tahiti, Samoa, Aotearoa, Tonga, and Fiji, with costume design experience for Miss Hawaiʻi and Miss Aloha Hula. Her diverse background reflects a lifelong commitment to cultural practice, creativity, mentorship, and the sharing of ʻike through hands-on learning.

  • Registration Required: Every attendee must be individually registered to participate in the workshop.

  • Payment & Seat Confirmation: Registration is not complete and your seat is not reserved until payment has been successfully processed and received.

  • Cancellations: All workshop registration fees are non-refundable. No refunds or workshop credits will be issued for cancellations or no-shows.

  • Arrival Time: Please arrive on time and be ready to begin at the scheduled workshop start time. Timely arrival helps ensure the workshop can proceed as planned and that all participants receive the full instructional experience.
